This podcast is the first of three podcasts we have labeled theoretical paranormal. We first discuss the mind/matter debate and describe both the materialism and dualism perspectives. Next, we describe research into consciousness and the theory of quantum coherence put forward by Penrose. The remaining podcast describes a new field of quantum biology. Finally, we put forward the suggestion that the paranormal goes against the materialism world, and the best explanation might lay in quantum theories of the mind.
